This picture took me a lot of time, but I liked working on it.

I tried to improve the shading. In the past, a lot of my dear watchers criticised that the shadows in my pictures aren't strong enough. I think I improve my shading technique slowly, but I'll keep it in mind. I still hesitate to use very dark shadows. I fear they will look too static or artificial.

The 'bust' shows a "The Dark Eye" character I am working on for a long time now.
I can say for sure that she is a magician from the so called Horasreich (a renaissance influenced setting). ^^
And I can say for sure that I will soon manage to 'finish' the character. ( If a roleplaying character can ever be finished at all.)

I am looking forward to hear your opinion about the picture. And do not hesitate to criticize it. ^^ This always helps me to improve.

I am glad you like it! I just love your voluminous ( is that the right word...?) hair in this photograph, and wanted to keep it. ^^
