A portrait that took me hours. I can not remember when I started this picture.
But I always loved to work on it, especially when I sat in my weekend-psychology seminar at university.

The picture was supposed to show my current "The Dark Eye" character, Iowen, but now I would draw her a little different. But don't get me wrong, I really like the outcome.

I used a lovely stock picture from Letzteschatten-Stock for this one: [link]
I picked it, because I loved her look and I thought the hand would be a challenge for me to draw.
It was, but I made it! *yeah*

Still I am not able to adjust the scanner right...some of the shading got lost.

This time I was lucky. It just worked to draw the hand. But I practiced it before on a seperate sheet of paper. ^^

riesige Augen! Das fällt mir an dem Bild als erstes auf.
Was mir noch auffällt, ist, dass deine bleitift-schattierungen sehr viel gleichmäßiger geworden sind, auch bei deinen Haaren hast du dran gearbeitet, gefällt mir gut.
Und die kleinen feinen details muss ich gar nicht erst erwähnen ^^

Und man hat immer probleme mit den Scannern xD

Ja, die Augen sollten auch so sein. :) Ist ja immerhin eine kleine Halbelfe.

Bei den Haaren habe ich diesmal viel dickere Striche gezogen. Das gibt dem ganzen mehr Struktur.

Die Augen haben mir viel mehr Kopfzerbrechen bereitet, weil sie schwarz sind. Habe versucht sie so dunkel wie möglich zu machen, aber immer noch so hell zu lassen das man die Pupillen von der Iris unterscheiden kann.
